Since Qatar Shell is the lead sponsor of the Qatar National Team, Koora Time's participants enjoyed many opportunities to meet national team players at various events. Examples are:
Amir Cup 2019 activation
In partnership with the Qatar Football Association (QFA), Qatar Shell, the lead sponsor for the prestigious Amir Cup, offered football fans the opportunity to interact with their favourite players, in the lead-up to the much-anticipated tournament. Qatar Shell, sponsor of the Amir Cup for 15 consecutive years, hosted a virtual autograph booth in Doha Festival City, where fans had the chance to virtually meet, interact and pose for photos with five renowned players from leading Qatari football clubs, and take away a print copy of the signed photos.
Koora Time National Sport Day 2019
The event opened with the Asian Federation Cup trophy on display, to the surprise and delight of visitors, who celebrated Qatar's successful journey throughout the tournament to secure the title for the first time. National team players, such as Moaz El Henawy, Abdulkarim Hassan and Bassam Al Rawi attended the event, met members of the public and posed for photos with them alongside the trophy.
20 of Koora Time's participants had the opportunity to join the Qatar national football team as they trained. Koora Time is an educational programme based in Qatar that uses football as a platform to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
